New blog post from Caroline Shenton: A New Dawn for the Houses of Parliament

In this month's blog post, Dr Caroline Shenton, author of The Day Parliament Burned Down explains the significance of the Palace of Westminster's latest artwork, Mary Branson's New Dawn. Created to commemorate the struggle for women's suffrage and women's contribution to political life, this modern work responds to the original intentions to include art
in the New Palace of Westminster.
